Maltby, Walczyk Lead Chatham Girls Soccer Over Morriistown, 3-2

CHATHAM, NJ - Danielle Terzer, Morgan Maltby and Emily Walczyk each connected for a goal in Chatham's 3-2 girls soccer victory over Morristown at Haas Field on Tuesday.

Maltby made a throw-in to Julianna DeMaria, who flicked the ball to Terzer for a shot that sailed over the Morristown keeper's head for a 1-0 Chatham edge. In the second half Chatham (4-7) received an unassisted goal from Maltby for a 2-1 lead. Walczyk's fired in a shot from just outside the penalty area to provide a 3-1 advantage for the Cougars. Dana Pitonyak was credited with the assist on Walczyk's goal. Casey Madura had three saves in goal for Chatham.

Chatham is on the road this Friday, 4 p.m. at Whippany Park High School.
