Man Faces 25 Charges From Nearly 2-Month String Of Car Burglaries

NEW BRUNSWICK - A city man faces a long list of charges following his arrest for a nearly two-month long string of car burglaries, authorities said today.

Ryshawn Willaims, 34, was arrested Tuesday and now faces 25 criminal charges, said police Capt. J.T. Miller

Williams is accused of multiple counts of burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Authorities allege Williams broke into 11 vehicles from April 1 through May 14.

The vehicles were parked on Union, Morrell, and High streets, and Easton and Commercial avenues, Miller said in a statement.

Police ask that anybody with information about Williams call Detective Ericka DiMaarcello at (732) 745-5217.
