PATERSON, NJ - A mid-afternoon shooting left a 24-year-old Hillside man with gunshot wounds on Saturday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, members of the Paterson Police Department were called to the area of Broadway on a report of a shooting at approximately 1:20 p.m.

Upon arrival the police located evidence of a crime scene, but no victim was located.

A short time later members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that the victim had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment.
