Man Killed in 10th Ave. Shooting Wednesday Afternoon

PATERSON, NJ - Paterson police are investigating the second apparent homicide in the city in less than two days. 

The most recent fatal shooting happened Wednesday afternoon just before 3 p.m. A shooting in the 400 block of 10th Avenue claimed the life of city resident Ismail N. Walker, 24, who was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center after being shot in the torso and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Earlier on Wednesday, just after midnight, Ralph Dennison Jr., also age 24, was killed in a shooting near Rosa Parks Blvd. and Hamilton Street.
