Man Robbed at Knifepoint Saturday Night

PATERSON, NJ - Police are investigating the knifepoint robbery of a Hispanic male in his 20s Saturday evening at r around 7 p.m.

The victim was walking near the corner of River Street and East 15th Street when two black males approached him from behind wearing all black, according to Sgt. Ivette Otero. The suspects pulled out knives and started to go through the victim's pockets when the victim began to put up a struggle, sustaining a lacerated pinky finger in the process, but no serious injuries.
