Man Shot Near Montgomery Park

PATERSON, NJ- A 20-year-old Paterson man was shot in the area of Montgomery Park on Friday.

According to a report by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, members the Paterson Police Department responded to calls of shots fired at approximately 6:05 p.m.

Upon arrival the police located a possible crime scene as well as the victim who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
