MAPLEWOOD, NJ – Restaurant Week is returning to town from March 24-30 and is a joint effort of the Maplewood Village Alliance, Springfield Avenue Partnership and the Chamber of Commerce.
This year, the week is also taking on a philanthropic cause, supporting Rent Party Pantry. Participating restaurants will be donating a portion of their profits to help Rent Party Pantry fight hunger in our community. Many restaurants and some other local businesses will also be collecting canned goods which will be donated to local food pantries. Look for posters in the windows of participating locations.
“We are grateful for the generosity of the participating restaurants and we want to thank the Village Alliance, the Springfield Avenue Partnership and the Chamber of Commerce for making Rent Party part of Restaurant Week,” said Rent Party founder Chris Dixon. “The money raised will support hunger fighting initiatives in Maplewood/South Orange. We also welcome the opportunity to let more people know about the work we help support.”
Restaurant is sponsored this year by Keller Williams Midtown Direct Realty, 181 Maplewood Avenue. For a full list of participating restaurants and special offers, click here: http://springfieldavenue.com/events/restaurant-week.
