Mara’s Marks First Anniversary in Fanwood This Week

FANWOOD, NJ -- Mara’s, an anchor of the award-winning Fanwood Crossing redevelopment project at 250 South Ave., marks its first anniversary today. 

Today, in honor of this milestone, owner Marci Semel has planned celebration that begins with $1 cookies or small brewed coffee all day today and balloon artistry with Roy from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

On Tuesday, April 29, Mara’s will sell $1 cupcakes or kids’ gelato all day. Mara's gelato was recently featured in a column on Fox Business.

The grand finale celebration happens Wednesday, April 30, with $1 cookies, cupcakes, kids’ gelato, small coffee and other specially priced items, and free caricatures by local legend Hal the cartoonist from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and raffle prizes.
