SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health Tuesday reported 18,330 positive tests for the COVID-19 virus, an increase of 113 cases overnight, with 684 COVID-19 deaths reported since March 8.

The New Jersey Department of Health on Tuesday reported a total of 707,099 positive cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began its spread in the state 352 days ago, an increase of 2,737 overnight. The death toll in New Jersey is 20,990, an increase of 42 overnight.

There have been 10,690,625 COVID-19 tests administered in New Jersey.

Somerville has had a total of 810 COVID-19 cases since March, with a total of 15 COVID-19 related deaths.

The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide is 115,189,526 including 2,554,414 deaths, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control & Prevention on Tuesday morning, with 29,321,803 cases in the United States and 527,702 deaths.

The SCDOH confirmed the deaths of 202 Franklin Township residents; 89 in Hillsborough/Millstone; 101 in Bridgewater; 47 in Bernards Township; 50 in North Plainfield; 35 in Green Brook; 15 in Watchung; 22 in Raritan; 22 in Bound Brook; 18 in Warren; 18 in Manville; 15 in Somerville; 20 in Montgomery; 9 in Branchburg; 5 in Bedminster; 5 in Bernardsville; 4 in South Bound Brook; 4 in Peapack-Gladstone and 1 in Rocky Hill and 1 in Far Hills.
