March and Interfaith Service in Westfield to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

WESTFIELD, NJ — On Monday, Jan. 20,  Temple Emanu-El of Westfield will host The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Association of Westfield’s 27th Annual Interfaith Commemorative Service.

Members of the community are invited to march from the with the association from the Martin Luther King Monument on the South Avenue Circle (located between the Town Bank and the traffic circle) to the temple at 756 E. Broad Street. The group will assemble at noon and begin walking at 12:15 p.m.

“We are deeply honored to host the annual Martin Luther King service in this 50th year of remembrance of the March on Washington,” said Rabbi Doug Sagal, who will speak at the service.
