BERNARDS TWP., NJ _ Meetings of both the Bernards Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment are scheduled for early March, after each board had a meeting canceled in February due to a lack of business to conduct.

The Planning Board meeting that had been scheduled for this Tuesday, Feb. 18, has been canceled, and the board's next meeting has been set for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5. Pending applications may be heard, and action taken at that time, according to the Bernards Township website.

Earlier this year, the board had received and scheduled hearings on Bernards Plaza Associate's housing proposal off King George Road on a portion of the Dewy Meadow complex. The planned housing units would include state ordered affordable housing.

Both board meet in the main meeting room at town hall at 1 Collyer Lane in Basking Ridge.

The board of adjustment last week called off a special meeting that had been scheduled for Feb. 14, also due to a lack of business for the board to address. The zoning board's next scheduled meeting is Wednesday, March 6.
