BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Matt Altomare, sophomore hockey goalie for Gov. Livingston, ranks as a leading goalie, recording 596 saves with a .901 save percentage.
"Sophomore goalie Matt Altomare has been an absolute standout performer and I am expecting very big things from him in the years to come," said Gov. Livingston Coach Matt Anderson in a previous interview with The Alternative Press.
In addition to training with Anderson and the Highlanders team, Altomare trains one to two times a week with Coach at Give'm Nothing School for Goal Tenders with Jim Margitich. He also has spent time training in Canada.
Hockey is Altomare's passion, training all year, with hopes to play in college.
