SUMMIT, NJ - Captain Keegan Mayer has a knack for scoring big goals, and her first-half strike proved to be the match's only tally as the Summit High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team defeated Oak Knoll 1-nil on the Upper Turf Field.

The victory, which came on 'Pack The Stands Night', was the Maroon and White's third in-a-row and fourth in five matches, lifting their 2018 record to 7-8.

Junior goalkeeper Sophie Zachara made made four saves on the night for Summit, which next face Cranford October 20 in the Union County Tournament semifinals at AL Johnson. The match is set to kick-off at 2 p.m.
