PATERSON, NJ– in an effort to gain input from residents and other stakeholders into the continuing transition process from the Administration of Mayor Jane William-Warren to his own, Mayor-Elect Andre Sayegh has announced the scheduling of three public forums to give residents and stakeholders opportunities for their voices to be heard.

Sayegh was overwhelmingly elected on May 8 and will take the oath of office in a public ceremony on Sunday, July 1 at International High School. Earlier this week Sayegh announced an extensive list of members to his Transition Team, focused on a number of issues including Administration, Budget, and Finance; Community and Economic Development; and Public Safety and Prevention.

The forums are will run for 90 minutes each beginning at 6:00 p.m. and be led by members of the Transition Team. The dates and locations of each of the forums are as follows:

  • Tuesday, June 12th at Public School #25
  • Wednesday, June 13th at Eastside High School
  • Thursday, June 14th at John F. Kennedy High School

“These transition forums are in keeping with our commitment to being One Paterson,” said Mayor-Elect Sayegh. “I hope that Paterson residents, business owners and other stakeholders will come to a forum and provide their perspectives on how we can tap the great potential that lies within our great city of Paterson.”
