Meet Some Adorable Doggies on Saturday Who Need Loving Homes

MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Township of Montclair has announced a pet adoption meet and greet at the Farmer's Market Saturday, August 16.  The Farmer's Market is located in the Walnut Street train station parking lot each Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and runs until Thanksgiving.

All are invited to meet several of the wonderful pooches that need a loving home.  The Montclair Animal Shelter staff will be present to answer any questions and address all of your needs.  A few of the loving doggies, Tiger, Tina, Stephanie and Olga, will be at the market from 10:00 a.m. until noon with shelter volunteers Mary Wagner, John Sieck and Nancy Willis.

Visitors who decide to bring home any special pooch from the event, will get 50% off the adoption fee. Half price shelter adoption costs are: $70 for dogs ($140 full fee) and $50 for cats ($100 full fee).
