Mercedes GLK Stolen at Dunkin' Donuts; Accomplice Flees in Porsche

CHATHAM, NJ - A Mercedes GLK was stolen from the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts on Main Street Tuesday morning and an accomplice in the theft sped away in a late-model Porsche .

On Oct. 8 at approximately 7:35 a.m., patrols responded to the Dunkin' Donuts on Main Street on a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The victim, a resident of Kings Road, stated that she left her 2013 Mercedes GLK running while she went inside. When she came out her car was gone.

A review of the store’s video system revealed that a late-model Porsche parked next to the victim’s car and a subject got out and got into the Mercedes. At that point both cars fled at a high rate of speed eastbound on Main Street.
