Michael T. McCormick, Jr. Foundation Fundraiser Announced

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The Michael T. McCormick Foundation has announced that their "Rockin the Shillelagh Club" fundraiser will take place on February 8, 2014. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. at the Shillelagh Club, which is located at 648 Prospect Avenue in West Orange. There is a $10.00 cover charge and a cash bar.

The evening will feature a line-up of local rock and roll talent including the Poor Man's Opera, For Kicks, The Gutter Kings, and DJ Phil Johnson.

All proceeds will benefit the Michael J. McCormick, Jr. Foundation (MTM). The Foundation honors the memory of Michael T. McCormick, Jr., who died in a tragic automobile accident on August 2, 2009, with his childhood friend Vinny Simone. His parents, Karen and Mike, and his sister Meaghan, along with close family and friends, formed the MTM Foundation to distribute scholarships to college-bound students. Thousands of dollars in scholarships and donations have been distributed to date.
