MILLBURN, NJ – The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills is planning its first-ever Fall Festival for Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. leading up to the Millburn High School football game against Livingston at 2:30 p.m.
The Fall Festival will be located in front of Millburn High School and will feature fun events for the whole family, including live music, games, rides and great food.
Three local musical acts consisting of MHS students will perform: 90 Slope; JaJo; and Anya Parker-Lentz.
An array of food-trucks will offer a wide variety of cuisine.
Rides and games will range from bouncy-houses and climbing walls to jousting and human foosball. Photo booths, pony rides and a petting zoo will also offer diversions for the young and old.
“We are considering this more of a ‘friend-raiser’ than a ‘fund-raiser,’” said Micole Richer of the Education Foundation. “This will be a great way to bring people out for a fun day and educate them about the role the Ed Foundation plays in the community.”
The Fall Festival adds a fall-season event to the Foundation’s calendar which traditionally holds the “Millburn Schools Rock” gala and the “Millburn Film Fest” each spring.
The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills is a nonprofit organization with the mission ensuring “continued educational excellence by providing financial support for innovative and progressive improvements enriching the academic experience.”
Mark your calendars now for this terrific new event.
