Millburn High School Battle of the Bands is Coming May 30

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn High School Key Club is sponsoring a Battle of the Bands on Friday May 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Millburn High School's Main Gym. All proceeds will be donated to the NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking.

The MHS Key Club is the largest service club in the school and has won many awards for its community service and charitable efforts.

There will be food and drinks sold at the event and the school's English teachers will be the judges. The winning band will be awarded free studio time at Millburn’s So.i.Heard House of Music.

As of press time, there are at least four student bands on the lineup, including Griffin Schwab's band "Natural Vibes," Anya Parker-Lentz and Alec Gevarter's band, "Wasted Words," and Johnathan Gaelen's band, "90 Slope." Each band will play two covers and one original song.

Tickets are $7 if bought in advance outside the cafeteria during lunch on Tuesday May 20, Thursday May 22, Wednesday May 28 and Friday May 30 or $10 at the door.
