MILLBURN, NJ – Millburn High School’s Club for Causes is hosting an event for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and invites the community to come together to support a great cause.
Activities will include the “Chariots of Fire-Run/Walk. A trek from Taylor Park that continues in the reservation. Walk-ins welcome or register, form a team, and invite your friends and family to join. Or, join an existing team. Then, be a fearless fundraiser for the kids of St. Jude.
“Tour de Millburn” let’s you plan the stage of your course, invite your friends and celebrate your accomplishments in Taylor Park. Valet parking will be provided for your bikes so you can enjoy the day’s festivities.
“We've raised over $10,000 and need help reaching our goal of $25,000,” said Taylor Cook, a junior at Millburn High and member of the club. “It’s a little bit of a stretch since our event is on October 14th, which is why we would really appreciate [the community’s] help. We are hoping to encourage more families and students to participate in this event and we could use as much help as we can!”
