It’s March, which means it is Youth Art Month, a national program designed to emphasize the value of art and art education for all children.  In Millburn, the school district will once again celebrate the creative thinking and artistic skills of our students in grades K-12 at the Paper Mill Playhouse on Monday, March 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Approximately 120 pieces of student artwork will be on display throughout the Playhouse and the J.M. Kirby Carriage House. The reception will also feature student musicians. All members of the community are invited to attend.

This year’s Youth Art Month theme is “Art Sparks Genius.” Each year students in grades Kindergarten through High School are asked to develop creative designs to effectively express the chosen theme for that year’s Youth Art Month.  The Millburn Schools art department invites all members of the community to attend and enjoy the sparks of art and genius of Millburn’s students on display.
