MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce will use its annual Winter Gala this Saturday, Feb. 8, to recognize and award local companies and organizations deserving accolades:
Memories Live – Celebrating Life’s Milestones
Thanks to her love of creating home videos, Millburn resident Kerry Glass, founder of Memories Live, was a pro at turning treasured family moments into lasting keepsakes. The death of a friend, who left behind young children gave Kerry the idea to offer her services at no cost, to create life movies that would allow the terminally ill the opportunity to leave their lasting memories. Kerry’s vision and compassion have gained national attention.

The Atlantic Neuroscience Institute
In 2014, the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute celebrates its 20th anniversary. In the past two decades, it has grown to become the prominent NJ neuroscience program treating thousands of patients annually. Specialty trained neurosurgeons, neurologists, nurses and technicians use multidisciplinary programs in the treatment of stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, spine, concussion and MS. Supporting these programs are the latest in advanced technologies, all for the purpose of performing care in the least invasive, highest quality environment.
Paper Mill Playhouse Show Choir
The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir is an audition based, exhibition Show Choir that stems from Paper Mill Playhouse’s award-winning Arts Education and Outreach programs. The choir consists of 40 singer/dancers between the ages of 16 and 22. The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir act as ambassadors to Paper Mill Playhouse with an array of performance opportunities throughout the community and beyond. Students selected to be a part of this talented group have to opportunity to fine tune their craft with free, intensive instruction with an array of public performance opportunities.
Millburn Co-op Nursery School
Founded in 1974, the Millburn Cooperative Nursery School is a unique non-profit preschool located in a one-room schoolhouse on the edge of Taylor Park. Teachers and parents work together to provide a secure, relaxed atmosphere. The co-op offers stimulating and varied activities designed to help each child grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially at his or her own pace.
