Millburn Stop & Shop Hearing Postponed

MILLBURN, NJ - A decision on whether to grant the variances Stop & Shop needs to build a proposed supermarket on Millburn Avenue will have to wait until next year.

The Board of Adjustment met briefly Monday night to cancel the scheduled hearing and carry the matter to a special meeting on Monday, Feb. 10. The board was to hear closing arguments from attorneys for all sides and render a decision.

Cheryl Burstein, the board member who is chairing the Stop & Shop hearings, said administrative matters caused the postponement.
