MILLBURN, NJ - While some school districts in the region will not begin classes until next week, it was back to school for students in Millburn and Short Hills on Tuesday.

The remainder of September will find much going on in the district.

Schools will be closed on Sept. 5 and 6 for Rosh Hashanah.

The Board of Education will meet on Monday, Sept. 9 and Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7:45 p.m.

Millburn Middle School’s Back-to-School Night for seventh- and eighth-rade parents will be Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.

Millburn elementary schools’ Back-to-School Night is Tuesday, Sept. 17.

There will be a delayed opening on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Millburn Middle School's sixth-grade Back-to-School Night is also Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Millburn High School’s Back-to-School Night is Thursday, Sept. 19.

The Education Foundation’s Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 in front of MHS.
