MILLBURN, NJ - Residents in town will need to make alternate travel plans over the next few days, as starting on or around Wednesday, April 24, Parsonage Hill Road will be closed for two days of milling and paving work between White Oak Ridge Road and Old Short Hills Road.
The first day of milling and paving on April 24 will span from Oak Ridge Road to Hartshorn Drive. The following day, on Thursday, April 25, work will continue from Hartshorn Drive to Old Short Hills Road. Work will begin at 7:00 a.m. and continue through 5:00 p.m. each day.
Detour signs and new traffic patterns will be posted during the project for drivers to follow. The workis being done as part of the Essex County 2019 Road Resurfacing Program.
Residents in the affected areas should be advised that access to and from driveways and streets may be impacted during operations. No parking on Parsonage Hill Road and Old Short Hills Road during active construction will be permitted.
Also of note, all road work for the project will be weather dependent.
