Want to learn another tool for prevention, recovery and life? Come to the Center for Prevention and Counseling on Friday, June 21 for a “Mindfulness Meditation” workshop from 12 – 1PM. Discover a simple practice which has helped many people, not only those who have addictive disorders. Learn new strategies, behaviors and attitudes for yourself or to share with others about how to cope more skillfully with the inevitable ups and downs of life. Rev. Janice Billera, Spiritual Leader at Unity of Sussex County, will facilitate this free one hour workshop where she will share creative ways to bring mindfulness and compassion to the choices and decisions that support life and recovery. Light refreshments will be available and you may bring your lunch, if you wish, to the second floor classroom at 61 Spring Street with convenient parking in the Trinity Street lot. Professional Development Credits will be provided. Please contact Ayla at the Center for Prevention and Counseling at (973)383-4787 to reserve a spot, as space is limited. This community workshop is funded by the County of Sussex.
