MMAC - MMS PTO Joint Program - November 17: Empower Your Students to be Their Own Best Advocate

Join MMAC and MMS PTO for a special program on Wednesday night, November 17th.

Parents,  Empower your Student to be their own best Advocate!

Teaching our children to be self advocates with their peers, with teachers, with coaches, with tutors, with extended family and with us is one of the most important skills we can provide as parents.  At any age being able to problem solve, express and justify a point of view, a feeling or an opinion are important skills to have.

Who in our community does not want to raise a resilient child?  How can we as parents empower our children without enabling them? How can we ensure our kids learn how to make good, healthy decisions as they grow up and mature?  How can parents instill strong character traits like leadership, respect, responsibility, honesty & integrity?

Join us for an energizing and eye opening discussion with John McCarthy as MMAC partners with the Millburn Middle School PTO to bring you this extraordinary opportunity for Parent Education.  This is a time to listen, learn and share how you can help your child enhance their self esteem and become a strong and capable individual.  MMS PTO business meeting 7:30pm - Parent Ed 8:00-9:30 Millburn Middle School Auditorium.  RSVP suggested/ or direct questions to MMACdare@gmail.com
