PARKLAND, FL- Florida daily cases are increasing with 3,000+ daily average the past week. The percent of positive results ranged from 3.66% to 6.71% over the past 2 weeks and was 5.94% on Sunday, October 25, 2020. This percentage calculated is for people that test positive for the first time and does not include people that had previously tested positive.

Here are the current numbers according to the Florida Department of Health as of Monday, October 26, 2020:

Florida has 782,013 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 13,922 in past 4 days.

Broward County has 83,962 confirmed cases, an increase of 1, 712 in past 4 days.

Parkland has 599 confirmed cases, an increase of 23 in past 4 days. 

Coral Springs has 3,690 confirmed cases, an increase of 99 in past 4 days.

Deaths in Florida related to COVID-19: 16,449 an increase of 182 in past 4 days.

Broward County has 6,118 (7.3%) hospitalizations with 1,521 (1.8%) deaths due to COVID-19. Deaths increased by 2 in the past 4 days. The median age is 39.

Broward County Percent Positive: 4.9% per the latest data on October 25, 2020.

Broward County Hospital Bed Availability: Hospitals have 1003 (21.6%) beds available and 110 (22.2%) adult ICU beds available per the latest data on Monday, October 26, 2020.

Parkland Schools:  - Heron Heights Elementary: 2 cases  - Parkland Trails Elementary: 2 cases -Westglades Middle School: 1 case
