PATERSON, NJ - An investigation has been launched into a Monday shooting that left two women with non-fatal gunshot wounds, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced.

According to a statement, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 25th Street and 15th Avenue at approximately 10:02 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival responding officers discovered a potential crime scene, but no victims were located. 

A short time later police were advised that two women, one from Paterson, one from Lodi, both 34 years old, arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
