MONTCLAIR, NJ - A 28-year-old Montclair man was arrested in Newark in connection with a shooting that occurred in the vicinity of the Finest Cuts Unisex barbershop, Montclair Police officials annouced Tuesday.

On November 17, 2018, at approximately 7:00PM, officers were dispatched to the area of Bloomfield Avenue
and Mission Street on a report of shots fired

Upon arriving, officers located a 26-year-old Montclair man laying on the floor of a barber shop suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim had been shot on Bloomfield Avenue and made his way into the barber shop, where he collapsed. Officers rendered medical aid, turning the victim over to Montclair Ambulance for treatment and transport to Mountainside Hospital. The victim was listed in stable condition and later released.

Through investigation, Montclair Detectives identified Rueben Moore as the suspect in this incident. Moore has been charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Weapons Offenses.

On February 13, 2019, Montclair Detectives located and arrested Moore without incident. No injuries were reported.
