MONTCLAIR, NJ — As people gathered around smaller, more socially distanced Thanksgiving tables, local coronavirus numbers continued to rise. The record for Montclair on the Essex County report, includes seven new cases in 24 hours, bringing the township total to 847. This number is subject to change as the Township's Public Health officials conduct their investigations. Across Essex County, 329 new cases were reported on November 26 along with two deaths, both Newark residents.
