Montville's Superintendent Announces Town Meeting

MONTVILLE, NJ – On May 12, Dr. Paul Fried, Superintendent of Montville Township Public Schools, will hold a Town Meeting at the Montville Township High School cafeteria. The open forum is an opportunity for all residents of Montville Township to ask questions and discuss ideas.

This Town Meeting will be the second open forum hosted by Superintendent Fried since September.

“Holding Town Meetings has allowed for greater communication among parents, teachers, administrators, the Board of Education and the greater Montville Township community," said Fried. “I believe the meetings have led the District in the direction of positive change for our children.”

The format for the evening will be open-ended. Any topic of interest may be introduced for discussion.  The open-ended format will provide individuals the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and discuss educational topics that are on their minds. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Montville Township Public Schools Town Meeting will take place on Monday, May 12 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.  It will be held in the cafeteria at the Montville Township High School.

Montville Travel Alert: Taylortown Road Construction by Overpass

MONTVILLE, NJ - According to the Montville Township Police Department, there will be road construction on Taylortown Road on Tuesday, Dec. 6 and Wednesday, Dec. 7 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. 

Residents are advised to expect delays and plan an alternate route if possible as only one lane will be open during the construction.

 

Apple Montessori Celebrates Thanksgiving in Towaco

MONTVILLE, NJ – Apple Montessori in Towaco was filled with the delicious smells of Thanksgiving on Nov. 18 when the school held its feast thanks to many helping hands.
