A sextet of singers, Express Male, will take center stage when the 85-voice Morris Choral Society celebrates the start of spring at the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum on Sunday, April 6 at 3:00 p.m. The group includes John Collins of Raritan, Bud Leppard of Morristown, Wayne Walters of Parsippany, Rob Walters of Long Valley, Chip Wood of Basking Ridge and Nicholas Schumacher of Randolph as featured soloists.
“Spring Fling” will show off the chorus under the direction of Wayne Walters, with a program that features popular selections from Broadway and Tin Pan Alley including favorites by George Gershwin, selections from Phantom of the Opera, Shrek and more.
“We have had a challenging winter and the chorus is looking forward to welcoming spring” said Mr. Walters. “In addition to tunes from Broadway, we will intersperse some well-known and not so well-known songs for an afternoon of pure joy.”
The concert will take place at the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum, 6 Normandy Heights Road in Morristown on Sunday, April 6 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors, students and Morris Museum members.
