MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Morristown High School field hockey team improved to 2-1- 2 on the season following Tuesday’s 5-1 victory over Parsippany Hills.

The Colonials put in three goals in the second period and two goals in the third. Par Hills’ lone goal came in the fourth quarter.

Briana Franco led Morristown with three goals. Elizabeth Scheer and Katie Meehan both scored, Angie Machado had two assists, Sydney Familo, Krista Vargas and Nicolette Horton had assists and Morristown goalie Jackline Chimborazo made four saves.

Noga Vardi put in the lone goal for the Vikings (0-5).

Morristown had 16 shots on goal. The Colonials will meet Montville on Oct. 26.
