Motor Vehicle Accident Sunday Morning in Randolph


RANDOLPH, NJ-On August 24, 2014, at 1:56 a.m., the Randolph Police were dispatched to a one car motor vehicle crash.    Preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle being driven by a 23 year old male from Dover was traveling on Quaker Ave in the area of Chrystal street when the vehicle ran off the road and overturned.  

The driver and a 25 year old passenger suffered significant injuries and were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.  A third passenger was also taken to an area hospital with injuries.  A fourth passenger declined to be transported to the hospital.

This crash is still under investigation.

The Randolph Police Department, the Morris County Prosecutors office and Morris County Sheriff's office all responded to investigate this crash.  The Randolph Fire Department, The Randolph Rescue Squad  the Denville Rescue Squad and St. Clare's MICU all responded to and assisted at the scene.
