WARREN, NJ - Warren Township Police responded to eight accidents between 7:42 and 8:53 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, according to a police report issued on Wednesday.
Due to unsafe road conditions, drivers had been asked to stay off of local roads.
No injuries were reported in any of the accidents, all of which can be attributed to icy road conditions.

The reported accidents occurred on Liberty Corner Road, King George Road, Mountain Boulevard, Powder Horn Drive,at the intersection of Stirling and Reinman roads, Top of the World Way, Warrenville Road, and Washington Valley Road, according to the police report.
The hit and run accident was the first to occur and was reported at 7:42 a.m. in the area of 511 Warrenville Road. A vehicle driven by Heidi M. Figel, of Middlesex, was struck by a dark sedan.
The driver of the sedan fled the scene of the accident, the police report said. As of Wednesday, police had not reported finding the other vehicle.
