WARREN, NJ - Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency effective at noon on Saturday.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, predicting "total snow and sleet accumulations of 3 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch possible."
The storm watch from the NWS also states that "travel could be very difficult at any point during the storm."
Due to the State of Emergency, the following Watchung Hills games are now canceled: boys freshmen basketball at GL, boys and girls swimming at Montgomery and Wrestling tri match at home. Check with coaches for practice times.
The robotics meeting will be from 8 am to 11 am.
