SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Nostalgia was the theme for the night when over 50 classic cars invaded the town for Cruise Night at the American Legion on Friday.

Cars ranged from a 1947 Plymouth P15 Special Deluxe to a 1979 Porsche 928 and a 1939 Cadillac LaSalle.  Proceeds from the show went to the American Legion Women's Auxiliary.

Those who missed the show need not worry.  South Plainfield EMS will be holding its seventh annual car, truck, and bike show today (July 20) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Admission is free, with the event taking place at its headquarters on Plainfield Avenue.
