North Penn High School had the whole world in its gym.
On Saturday, the International Spring Festival returned with its unique cultural flair and eye-catching entertainment, and bringing with it, visitors of all walks of life interested in new customs.
From Argentina to Zaire, there was something there for everyone. There were even balloon swords, courtesy of The Geek Balloonist.
Performers included Elite Strings Youth Orchestra; Ewelina, the Egyptian belly dancer; Sapna Patil and the Indian Dancers, Almost Fab, The Red Hill Jazz Band, the Mutya Philippino Dance Troupe; and Motown R&B foursome MPrynt, who performed an a capella version of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
The event was presented by the International Spring Festival Committee, Lansdale Library, North Penn School District, Abington Health Lansdale Hospital, The Reporter, WNPV, PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Community College, Christopher Dock Mennonite High School and Discover Lansdale.
