NEW BRUNSWICK,NJ - Telling city hall about that pothole down the block or the clogged street drain flooding the street just got easier with the municipality now offering an app residents can use, to report, and send a photo, of a problem they see on the street.

ReportIt.com is now available to let New Brunswick officials know about non-emergency problems.

City officials this week said the free app can be used on iPhone and Androids by opening the app and selecting City of New Brunswick. Reports and concerns can be filed from cellphones, tablets or desktop computer.

Each person can include their contact information or can make the report anonymously.

People will be asked a few questions about the problem they found, then be allowed to add a few comments and a photo if they want. The location will automatically be attached, along with the date and time.

City department officials will review each report.

Residents can find the app on the App Store or at Get It on Google Play
