April 29, 2014 at 12:00 PM

EDISON, NJ – The members of the Edison Board of Education made only one nomination for Board President and that was Veena Iyer.

Once Daniel Michaud, Edison BOE Business Administrator, concluded the vote count, he enthusiastically exchanged seats with Veena Iyer and turned the meeting over to her.

Frank Heelan said, “I’m looking forward to the leadership of Veena Iyer, she is certainly highly qualified to be our president.”
