SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Borough is reporting that New Brunswick Avenue from Cherry Street to Walnut Street will be completely closed over the next four weeks.  The closure is due to on-going construction to both the roadway and a culvert.  New Brunswick Avenue from Walnut Street to West 7th Street will also be under construction during the same period of time, but the road will be open to one lane traffic.

The construction is part of a Middlesex County road project.  The project consists of reconstruction of the road, road widening, sidewalks, curbing and a bicycle lane.
