SPARTA, NJ – Sparta resident and cofounder and manager of the Sparta Farmers Market Mitch Morrison is about to embark on a cross country trip on his bicycle. Morrison is riding solo from Portland, Oregon to Sparta beginning on April 10 arriving in late May.
“As part of my adventure, I am raising money for cancer research for Cycle for Survival,” Morrison said.
Anyone interested in donating can do so at Cycle for Marty & Rickie
According to the website, Morrison posted, “Marty Epstein from Marty’s Reliable [Cycle] is a phenomenal person who has dedicated his life to helping others” and “Rickie Morrison is my sister-in-law of 43 years.”
Morrison said 100 percent of the funds raised go to lifesaving research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering; “Every dollar you give will advance innovative studies and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Discoveries made by MSK revolutionize how cancer is diagnosed and treated, helping patients across the country and around the world.”
