WEST ORANGE, NJ - If ye are yearning for the days of olde England with magical castles and inhabitants, look no further than the Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center at 4 Boland Drive in West Orange, where the New Jersey Renaissance Faire will bring to life the village of Crossford on Saturday, July 26 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.
"Crossford is a village like any other in the English countryside in the 1500's. Situated on the shores of beautiful Loch Liberty in the Duchy of Northumberland, Crossford is a shire that is a jewel in the cap of the noble Duke of Northumberland. Her fields are rich and her citizens filled with merriment and love of crown and country."
The artful players of the New Jersey Renaissance Faire will bring their interactive theater talents to West Orange for the first annual New Jersey Arts Incubator Renaissance Faire. In addition to the costumed actors, acrobats, fire breathing, Shakespeare, music, comedy sword fighting and drama will entertain visitors. A special historical mythical figure will make their appearance.
Several artisans, craftsmen, and food vendors will also be on site.
