So green!

What started out as a friendly inquiry from the Lincoln School PTO for the donation of a hydrangea plant from M&R Landscaping this summer has turned into a significant project: the complete renovation of a large plot in the left rear of the school.

M&R Landscaping has transformed a once sparsely populated and weed infested lawn into a spectacular and impressive sight!  Lincoln School PTO and Principal Audrey Zavetz are extremely grateful for owner Manny Carlino's generosity in donating all shrubs, plants, sod, mulch and labor into this project and so willingly accommodating the student's schedules to minimize disruption.

When asked why he wanted to take on such a major renovation during this busy fall season, Manny recalled that his mother had attended Lincoln School and therefore it holds a very special place in his heart.

Many thanks also to the Lincoln School Custodial Staff for removing all debris from the school to keep the area clear and allow this project to be completed.

Parents who did not have a chance to view the new landscape during Back to School Night on October 3rd should come by and take a peek!
