New Providence Blanks Roselle Park, 3-0

ROSELLE PARK, NJ - New Providence striker John Vetter tallied two goals as the Pioneers defeated Roselle Park, 3-0, on Tuesday afternoon.

After a scoreless first half, Vetter scored a goal about halfway through the second half to start the scoring.

Soon thereafter, sophomore Sean Regan gave the Pioneers a two-goal lead with a strike with about 15 minutes left.

Vetter's second goal came late in the second half to cap off the New Providence victory.

With the win, the Pioneers pick up their fifth win of the season.  They will take on Westfield on Thursday while Roselle Park (6-10), hosts Brearley.
