New Providence Boys Soccer Tramples McNair Academy, 6-1

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Sophomores Sean Regan and Nathan Dounel each netted a pair of goals as the Pioneers snapped their four-game losing streak with a 6-1 boys soccer victory over McNair Academy in Jersey City Friday night.

Strikers John Vetter and James Marriot also tallied a goal in the New Providence victory.

Pioneer goalie Michael Zamora put forth a strong effort between the bars, only allowing one goal.

New Providence (2-4) looks to keep its momentum going with a game against Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
