NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - With summer approaching, the return of the New Providence Farmers' Market is just about here.
The tents will be up and the tables will be out and piled high with Jersey Fresh Fruits and Vegetables when the New Providence Farmers' Market opens for the season on Wednesday. The market is sponsored by the New Providence Business Community in cooperation with the Presbyterian Church of New Providence.
The market will be open from noon to 6 p.m. every Wednesday until November for its second season at the Presbyterian Church parking lot on Springfield Avenue.
Returning this year are Stony Hill Farms, Murph Farm, Melick Towne Farm, Hoboken Farms, Paolo’s Kitchen, Krakus Deli, Gourmet Dried Fruits and Nuts, along with their pickles and olives. New this year will be Nostos, a company of family-owned olive oil producers.
