NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – The New Providence Girls Lacrosse team, led by Head Coach Jennifer Henry, is hoping to continue moving forward based on their success last season.

“ As a team, we’re hoping to move forward from where we left off last year and to move forward as a team with good leadership from our seniors.” said Henry.

Senior attacker and Louisville University commit, Jill Balog, will be a huge portion of the leadership that the Pioneers look to have this season.

Key players to watch this season include seniors Jill Balog and Dominique Iacovelli, juniors Gabriela Estupinan and Claire Eberle, and freshman Sarah Zeto.

With a 4-3 start to the season, the Pioneers will host Morristown-Beard on Wednesday afternoon at Lieder Field hoping to rebound after their loss to Morristown. Start time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
