New Providence Memorial Library’s annual Summer Reading Programs will kick off in June this year. The Adult Program “Literary Elements” starts first on June 1 and runs through the months of June and July. There are three theme-related events in June and a Science Fiction movie fest in July.
Discussion questions will be posted on the library’s GoodReads and Facebook pages for online participants. Discussion question forms will also be available in the library for those who don’t want to participate online. Responses to weekly questions will be eligible for weekly prize drawings. Prizes have been donated by New Providence businesses and include gift certificates to New Providence Florist, A&P, Tables for Two, McGrath’s, Paolo’s Kitchen and Coppola’s. A drawing for grand prizes will take place on July 31 at the end-of-program party. They include gift certificates to NP Fuel, Skin Deep Spa and a basket from Starbuck’s. No registration is required. Just respond to the question with what you’re currently reading and you’re entered into the week’s drawing.
Theme-related events start on June 3 @ 7PM
